R. E. Training Center was honored to welcome multiple-time World Champion Leon Mendonça to our Jiu Jitsu academy in June and August. Leon has captured titles at the World Championships, Pan Championships, and Brazilian Nationals at every colored belt, and is now making waves in the Black Belt ranks.
During his visits, our Topeka Jiu Jitsu students had the incredible opportunity to train with an Ultra Heavyweight who moves with the agility of a much lighter athlete. Leon’s energy, technique, and humility brought excitement to every class, and we’re grateful for the knowledge he shared.
